Board games are a toss up between Pirates of the Carribean life(which is better than regular Life and its faster) and the Farming game.
Card games: between Bang! and apples to apples.

Monopoly. I have Red Sox Monopoly, and I want that new Monoply Here and Now (or something like that!). I also heard that there is a make-it-yourself monopoly where you name the spaces and put in pictures. Creative, but sounds a little cheap.

Trivial Pursuit. I like it because one question can be insanely hard, and the next ridiculously easy. Plus it's great for team play at family gatherings!
