For the Bears to win another Super Bowl, it is going to take perserverance, sweat, determination and consistency.
All of which I believe they possess this year with the exception of the latter at QB. Consistency.
They have a supernatural, freakishly awesome phenom known as Devin Hester who is easily capable of turning ANY game around single-handedly. Their defense is showing consistent plays at times, but somewhat eratic at stuffing the running backs.
But overall I have confidence in the D.
Special teams are simply doing an awesome job. Returns, whether they be kickoffs or punts, there is no super big holes there. Robbie Gould has missed only two kicks so far this year.
Brad Maynard is one of the best overall punters in the game today. Their bench is pretty darn deep as far as back ups. With early injuries to Brian Johnson and Mike Brown, Hester, Vasher, Tillman and Ricky Manning Jr. have filled in quite well.
Lovie Smith has a knack for filling gaps. He has an eye for who needs to go where.
The offense needs improvement in a few areas though.
Without saying, Rex needs to be more confident and wise in his decisions. Thomas Jones hasn't been the same RB as he was last year. Cedric Benson needs to be getting more carries. After all Chicago has always been known for their running game.
Mussin Muhammad, Bernard Berrian, Desmond Clark, Mark Bradley and Jason Mckie can help Grossman tremendously if they stop some of the bleeding when the ball is in the air. Mainly by knocking the ball to the ground when it's non-catchable instead of allowing the corner backs to just pick it off so easily.
Overall their chances are pretty good if they can beat New Orleans or Dallas which will have to pass through Soldier Field.
They clearly have a first round bye and home field advantage and that makes a world of difference versus warm weather or "dome" teams.
But.....I didn't come to start no trouble..........I just came to do the SUPER BOWL SHUFFLE!!!!!!!!

You ask , are Da Bears on the verge of "yet another" dynasty ? What dynasty ? prevailing one , it truly is sweet one (a million ) large Bowl of their complete heritage does no longer make a dynasty . it truly is large that you're chuffed that the Bears are doing more effective this 12 months yet wasn't that the Patriots who purely embarrassed the Bears of their abode stadium . The Packers are nevertheless the classification of the NFC North and if it wasn't for them dropping 16 initiating gamers out for the 12 months with injuries you'll nevertheless be looking up at them . in reality if the Packers get a wild card spot they could knock the Bears out . a minimum of an excellent Bowl between the Packers and the Patriots will be a honest wrestle . The Bears have already shown that they don't belong on an same field with the Patriots . they purely are not ok .

An All-Star running back like Gale Sayers or Walter Payton and a Better defense. Their corners and safties are pure garbage.
Cendric Benson is garbage. The bears should trade two 1st round picks and him to get Reggie Bush or draft Adrian Peterson.
Then they will have to draft WR Calvin Johnson and cut that Mushi dude. He's also garbage.
Basically the Bears don't need a quarterback. They never did and never will.
So let Rex Grossman countinue to be garbage. The Bears could give a ****.

Even though defense wins championships, you need a good offense, too. The Bears lack that, with Grossman at QB,no "star" receivers and an average running game.Devin Hester can't be expected to win them games in the playoffs.
With Drew Brees at QB,the Saints are right now the favorites in the NFC.

Rex Grossman needs to play a mistake free game, and the defense picks up the rest of the slack. They have a good shot to get to the Super Bowl cause the NFC sucks.

Off. line is fine, good start for developing running game, Def. is solid! QB seems to be the week spot from reports on ESPN, not constant, Jim's son is out there maybe he could do like his dad they been doing pretty bad for a long time.

God . . . and the prayers of every Bears fan out there. That is if ya think God is a bears fan and I know he is. Papa Halas told me himself. At any rate the Bears gotta get through a few tough NFC teams first.
