I applied to NYU for their spring semester, which starts January 8, 2007. My application wasn't late, and I mailed off all of my supplementary materials a few days after I filled out the application online. They only give you three weeks before the semester starts to decide if you want to attend the school, The semester starts in four weeks and I've recieved no response. I'm worried this is an indication that I didnt get accepted. Is my concern justified? Please....someone who attends the school or may've been employed by admissions, answer me A.S.A.P.

Thanx in advance

We are dealing with a big name univ. here NYU. My brother got his rejection from NYU early and another friend of mines got his acceptance to Columbia about that 4 weeks mark. So continue to keep your hopes up.

oh BTW. what's your major?

I don't attend the school but I think that your concerns are justified. Why don't you call the admissions office and see exactly where you stand. Someone there will be able to tell you exactly what is going on. During this time of the year mail gets mixed up they may have mailed you something and you didn't get it. Call as soon as possible.

Call immediately. They usually send you something one way or another. At this time of the year, it's quite possible the letter got lost in the holiday mail crush.
