Maybe the men you go out with think they are the best thing a woman could ever want and expect that all women are chasing them. Too bad, they could enjoy themselves more if they just relaxed and had fun with the women instead of being afraid of them.

Your question is generalizing. Not ALL men want commitments. It's also way to general to answer. Are you doing something to make the men you are dating think you want a commitment? Are you selecting men with a particular personality trait that leads to them wanting something more serious? Where are you looking for these male "friends"? Do you let him pay for these "outings" all the time? At some point, depending on the man in question and if everything is going well, he may think "Wow, she is awesome. I want more." Also, as in any relationship, communication is absolutely KEY. If your not up front in the beginning about just wanting a friend to go out with and play around the town you might be sending him a mixed message. If you don't tell him you don't want any more than friendship he has no information to work with.

First of all, most women *are* looking for commitment.
Few women like to be intimate with a guy and not know he is commited to only them.
Second, only women fool themselves into thinking men can have female friends. They cannot.
Men have 3 categories of women:
[1] Women they want to screw but haven't screwed yet;
{2] Women they have already screwed and want to screw again;
[3] Women too hideous to screw.
And they aren't "friends" with [3]'s. They don't "go out and have fun" with [3]'s. If they want to go out with someone they don't want to f*ck, they'll go out with the *guys*. Period. But if a man is a "friend", he wants to bang you. Sorry but that's the way it is.
Why do you think so many women want a gay guy friend? He *can* be a friend and shop and have a latte without the sexual tension.
And yes to sleep with you a man will say he is committed - even when he isn't. Shocking indeed. Like women faking orgasms, it's tough to admit but there it is.

Well that's where "most" women mess it up for the rest of them. Since most of the gripe about why their guy can't commit, guys tend to think that it's the only thing they want.
There's nothing wrong with men and women having fun.
