The Opera House, Aquarium, and Taronga Zoo come to mind. Also have an ale and pie at the Lord Nelson Pub - great atmosphere.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge -you can climb it. There is the Opera House. If you go in March there is Mardi Gra. Stay away from King's Cross.
