Unfortunately there are some drugs that make you feel different shall we say and sometimes when people try them they get addicted to them.

No one would do something if they knew the true consequences of it. Some people just don't care or just get pressured into it. Drugs are the worst thing you can do and there are serious consequences like getting backtracked from your studies and carreer and becoming a low level employee. Losing all your friends. Mental and physical effects that stay with you for a long time which you hate, which affects your relationship with everbody.

There is this thing called a "high" and it is not worth it at all because getting high has a effect of hurting your brain.

How many times does someone really have to tell you that doing drugs is bad?

People will only realize when it's too late and they have lost a lot to drugs.

Don't take what you have right now for granted!!

Oh and you don't want to keep seeing a physiciatrist or worse have to live in a phyciatric hospital and take strong medications everynight that make you lathargic and ruin everthing you do.

Well, I don't think that MOST teenagers do drugs, but the reason that MOST of the teenagers who do drugs, do, is because they THINK that most teenagers do drugs.

Peer pressure and the need to fit in and be like everybody else is why. Teens want to be COOL, or whatever. If they could only realize that it is so the wrong way to go...It doesn't matter what other people think as long as you are a good person...

Most teenagers don't do drugs. Many no doubt will experiment with marijuana, but I don't classify that as "doing drugs" if it's an isolated incident or if it's for a short period of time.

Those that do drugs are usually screwed up emotionally, have parents that have done a poor job raising and supervising them, and/or don't feel like they have a vested interest in staying free from drugs (for social/peer reasons).

There are occasionally kids who are good kids and know better but try a drug and simply can't stop using - particularly meth. Bad, bad drug.

1st off most teenagers dont do drugs its about a 5% total!! and usually its becuz they arent to sure of themselves and lack a great deal of confidense!! they havent accepted that there who they are!! or other parents/family members do it and thats all they have been raised around!!! but everyone has their own reason!!!

I think they do drugs or smoke and drink because they want to look adult...i know many who just does it for show because they think with a cigarrette between their fingers looks good and cool...i personally think it looks stupid and ghetto and a HUGE HUGE turn off...

sometimes it is their environment that drives them to do it too.. maybe even influences..say for example celebrities...

what kind of question is that? Why does anyone else do drugs duh. I mean ask something that can actually be answered. Noboby knows why people do alot of things. It's just a choice they made. You can ask that question over and over but you will never know the actual answer cause noone knows.

a head change. an escape from reality, a way to see the world and yourself differently. or maybe just the high. it depends on what kind of drugs you're talking about. what kind do you mean?
