I am trying to find a place to go abd something to do becides stay home and flip channels. Any ideas? So far, I've gone to the gym, to the library and to a bunch of museums and other kinds of atractions and tourist traps. I think I've seen them all now and have run out of those types of places to go. So, any other ideas?

You could go for a walk around your neighborhood. Take your time, notice things you normaly would not for example the chipped paint on your neighbors house, a flower thats growing in the sidewalk, etc.
Have a picnic at a forest preserve. Walk around it.
Check out plays a local high schools. They are cheep to get in to.
Volenteer some place. A soup kitchen, animal shelter, building homes for the less fortunate, or in your own neighborhood. Find out what you are good at and enjoy and find a way of helping others who are less fortunate.

Get a picnic basket together with a few friends and ask them to go with you to the beach or park. Bring old photo's to share or make it a scrap book event. It'll be fun gettin' together with a few friends ending the year with past memories.

Do you have a skill to share? Maybe you could teach others at your local school or parks & recreation department. It's also a good way to meet new people.

Get out some chips and dip .Play old broad games with your friends.Maybe some cards at that.

You can sing, if you enjoy it! You can play sports, join a club, join a volunteer group, anything that you find interesting, seems fun and new!

get drunk, have a party, drive your friend's mustang at 120 mph on highway & see how it takes before the cops catch you, relize you just slept with your best friend's future wife, you know ordinary stuff.
