I just don't want to tell her that she is lame then hurt her. She is really sensetive.

u have to make sacrifices for ur best friends and if urs is listening to her lame jokes consider urself lucky some people have to deal with best friends that the whole school hates and worse
just try to laugh with her, but try to not let her tell a joke to any crowds, u dont want her to get her heart broken
but if it does gets bad tell her nicely so she'll understand and not feel hurt

If you really like her then just put up with it, making it a sacrifice for for friendship's sake. But if it really bothers you, you can tell her without saying that she is lame or the jokes are lame. You can just say ,"Haven't you said that joke before?" and then change the subject. If this makes her sensitive, then say that you are sorry, and then listen attentively.

The way I've seen that works most often is to say straight out that the jokes that she says lack enthusiasm. Alot of people just want to feel like they can make others laugh, and when they don't get that, they try more jokes, so, best thing you could do would be to tell her to try different kinds of jokes. You could even recommend some shows she could watch, depending on your sense of humor. (Try Comedy Central).

The best answer I can give you, is to ask your friend to look up in the internet "jokes.com" and maybe you could join her too, and laugh at the ones YOU think are funny, then...just maybe this friend, who happens to be "so sensitive" can get a clue, and the jokes can rub off on her....g-luck girlie!! REMEMBER: friends are important, jokes are only there for a couple of times in your life....

Im the person in the bunch who sayings lame jokes..lol..so just tell her! yeah it will hurt but she'll get over it! and honestly she probably wont care and keep saying dumb jokes...plus im sure some of them are funny sometimes :)

If she tells a joke that's lame, just don't laugh. Instead, simply stare at her for about 10 seconds, then turn away, saying, "Uh-huh."

just say that was almost as funny the last time you said that. is she insecure? i ask because she sounds like she just wants people to like her. tell her she does not have to try and make you like her, you already do that is why you are her best friend.
