i am often surprised at black people since i moved to england 3 months ago.
i see people who listen to music very very loudly on buses, trains or tubes.
and when i look at the person, it is always a black person.
they also talk very very loudly to each other.

lots of people get on busses for free. they dont put a oyster card. i feel very bad cause i always use a oyster card.

and the other day this guy asked me the way to the station he wants to go. and i told him in detail. but he didnt say thank you or anything like that. very surprising.

Why are Japanese people so racist towards black people. I been told by many black people who have been to your country that Japanese people discriminate.. Can you answer that?
Stop being racist... it is not only black people who listen to music andif they are listening to it.. what harm is it doing to you? Are you going to die from hearing it.. Maybe you should go back to Japan if you are that intolerant of other races!!!!!!!!

I SHAUT BECOS TU MOCH BIG MUSIC MEK Mai EA BAD!

Yeah I am a black guy, and lthough I don't consider myself typical, I probably am. Sometimes good music just can't be loud enough when you're listening to it, but when soemone else doesn't like what you're listening to, generally you then don't want to have it on around them. That's my experience anyway, so i walk with loud music and try to keep it down on buses.

You shouldn't feel bad because you're doing it right. They shouldn't affect you in that way. If you feel you need to do something about it then write to someone, but I think the travel people are already aware of that and in a few years time we'll have buses with barriers at the front where you have to pin down your card (as americans do) before the thing revolves to allow you through.

I bet there have been a time or two when you didn't say 'thank you' when you should have. Many people for example don't thank the cook (at home) if someone else cooked their food...

but you're right. in the good ol' days the british public was much more polite.

That's interesting as you came here and recognised this happening just from black people.

Some will say your being racist or making a general assumtion based on a few people but are you?

I haven't noticed it as you have but that's not to say it's not going on, maybe talking loud and loud music is a cultural thing or that black people are more open.

I don't agree with your comment that black people have bad manners, you only came into contact with one guy and i've had completely the opposite experience.

Old people, now there's a bunch of bad mannered individuals.lol

i notice the same things yet we are both called racists you are japanese i am white brtish. i guess its the area we live. as alot of people say white people do this to the only civilised people we have in the uk are the chinese and japanese or anyone from an asian culture it seems these people work very hard and seems like the white and black underclasses dont want to make anything of themselves anymore they see it easy just to fail there education and go on the dole. we need to change this attutude. they always look hard dumby but lots of my friends are asian and came in to this country through persicution and had nothing there are very well off families now. i think the dole system here is bad as it causes generations of people to be lazy. i feel this is why the white and black families of this country are becoming lazy why work when you can get free money and a house. and can be rude to everyone as there is no punishments if i dont pay my fare on the bus. attitudes must change.

believe u me when i say that it is just not in England. the people here in the states, not just blacks, play there music so loud that u can hear it in ur car with ur windows up and the a/c on and rude, well the U.S. probably has the lock on that especially the younger people. I guess the parents were too busy making a living to have time to teach manners.

At least im not the only one that sees this world going to the pits.

But I can quote a few other races that do the same thing too.

They do that in brooklyn ny too where I came from. I'm italian and i see the italians and irish and others doing the same thing whether its rap music blasted from cars or on the subway system or rock and roll..and all the rudeness and selfishness too.

So the few black people you met in England accounts for the entire population of blacks worldwide? You just generalized an entire group of people who you probably know nothing about. I guess stereotypes are wrong, because "all" Japanese people are suppose to be smart....

If that was the only bad experience you've had with black people you should be thankful , trust me it gets worse. But that's not to say 100% of all black people are ignorant , loudmouth, jackasses. Just the ones that conform to a more socially acceptable behavior pattern are not as noticeable.

Don't pay no mind to Phoenix! He don't care, even tho he be answering all the "black" questions. Phoenix, buddy, they asked why MANY, not ALL black people did that. I'll say that it's because we ingnant sometimes and we can't listen to our rap music unless it be really loud.

i am white my best friend at school was black, she taught me how to dance to reggae music, and i still love their music to this day, youve only been in england three months, wait till you see the ignorant white people in the summer, with their music blaring out, i would rather hear all this than the drugged up population slurring at us begging for money for their next fix
