i bought 4 baby (very, very small) cichlids what are the chances of having a pair??

they are convicts that probibly havent had stripes for more than 2 weeks. but they are so cute and i want a breeding pair!!

2 fish is 50%, 3 is 75%, 4 is an 87.5% chance of having a pair.

i think you got a 30% chance.. i forget the stat math behind it.
if you get 10 .. the chances go up to 80%..

Im my experience you have a pretty good chance - con's are not picky about their mates.
