That would be the coolest. altho, there would be the question of control. would players be able to use their controler or would they be stuck using a keyboard? would there be problems with the servers? and a mighty big question(for me at least) would the graphics be better? would you be able to use your account(if you already had one) on the PS3?

Don't hold your breath. If SWG were a massive success there might be a slight possibility of such a port. Looking at SWG's numbers, it's performing so-so for a normal MMO, very, very poorly for one based on such a huge franchise. Considering that this is a 3 year old game that has never been particularly outstanding in any way, there is no financial incentive to go to the expense of making such a port. They're spending enough time and money just keeping the player base they have.

BTW, if there was a port, the graphics would be only slightly better unless they did a completely separate ps3 version of the game with it's own servers, since all the objects are set server side. Effects and textures could be upgraded somewhat, but eventually, there's a limit to what can be done based on the core program.
