Pandora relies on a good carrier network connection to stream the music for playing. Not being able to receive voice calls may also be related to your carrier network (Sprint). If you could copy music to your Palm Pre and play them successfully without any issues, then the problem may not be with the Palm Pre but with your network coverage or profile setup with Sprint.
