Try writing about the gas from the twin towers. It has effected many people who was their at the time. Many firefighters that were there have lung diseases. It is an interesting topic, trust me!

Well if you need to do a very quick one in a short amount of time I once did one comparing different brand soaps. Its something quick and easy to do.

How about the differences between hard water and soft water? your presentation will be more interesting if you use litmus paper.
Or, you could do it on how the human ear works; it's pretty simple and you can make really great posters for your presentation.

Do something easy. Check to see how long it takes for mold on bread to form, or see how long it takes for something to rust. Then all you have to do is write down what happens.
