Absolutely I will. And no this won't nearly be the death for Taco Bell. Does any one remember when Jack in the Box had a huge break out from undercooked meat?

Of course you don't. They recovered, stepped up their marketing to be one of the most innovative in their field, and a decade later every still loves them and they haven't had an outbreak since.

Taco Bell will do the same. Everyone will live to see another day.

Of course! (I don't liek lettuce :) ) Buit still, I mean it's not like every single Taco Bell has it. The chances are pretty slim that 2 outbreaks would happen this close together (if Taco Bell threw out the lettuce).

I probably would not and I love taco bell!!! Sometimes I feel like doing something to the people that did not properly clean the lettuce. My mom says I will soon learn to let go and let god!!!

Yes I will. Martian monkeys came to me in a dream last night and told me that Taco Bell will be at the top tier of the New World Order in 2009, so I'm hedging my bets while I can!

jamba juice had an e.coli break out from strawberries. restaurants stopped serving spinach, and grocery stores took it off the racks. there could be a break out at any restaurant. i'd still eat at taco bell. obviously their food is now safer, cleaner, and better because of the break out. and if you're paranoid, skip the lettuce.

Sure, no reason why not.

Here's a question, right back at you. Why would you EVER eat food that you did not grow with your own hands?

At some point, you, me and most of the rest of us have begun to trust in other producers and food preparers to supply us with most of the food we consume.

It is inevitable that sometimes bad food gets into the system and people fall ill. What helps keep things in perspective is the realization that people were getting sick from bad food LONG before we began buying food from other sources. In fact, MORE people were getting sick until government regulators steppen in and began enforcing safe food standards.

I eat Taco Bell foods, AND Wendy's and McDonalds and others. I also trust THEIR food more than I trust anyone else's home cooking. I KNOW what precautions I take when I cook. I don't know what precautions anyone else who is not regulated and inspected takes.

I think this terrible situation is the death Nell for Taco Bell. It is unfortunate it has happened to such a popular fast food establishment. I don't think they will recover from it.

sure whenever I get the feeling for greasy food that hits the spot, yes I will after they give the clear from ecoli. I did the same thing with spinach. As soon as they put it back in the stores, I bought 2 big bags and ate salads, soups, and sauteed spinach everyday until it was gone. I was craving it like mad!

If you are a current Taco Bell customer I'm thinking that your health is not a top priority right now so I don't think they are going to see a huge dip in the sales dollars.
