i need to wirte a poem for my english class about your life, and i don't really know if what i have is good..give me your opinions
this is just the beggining, its too long to put the whole thing.

I'm only fifteen years old but i'm wise beyond my years, i've been through warm and cold, through sweat and through tears. my life has come a long way although it feels so short. i steared my life through white and grey, every color of every sort. my whole life is ahead of me, so i shall not turn back. theres so many things i havnt seen, much more to learn infact. life isnt something you can plan, you take it as you go. just always have an open hand, and dont let your head lay low. although it may feel hopeless, and you sometimes need a lift, weather your rich or your homeless, life in itselfs a gift. sometimes it comes to fast and you dont know how to deal, looking back on what has past, you'll see that all wounds do heal. emotions can be confusing and hard to express, but i have to stop

refusing, and try to do my best. for i have ways to go before i understand. i have so much time to grow, to become the upperhand. We're young, but are not fools, our minds are not at rest. we go through the tough times too, try to understand you best. growth doesnt always come with age, it also comes with feeling. although we're on a different page, just imagine what we're dealing. the years go by so fast, it's already december, not all memories do last, you may be too old to remember. but try to open up your eyes and seethe things we go through. no we dont have adult lives, but we go through as much as you do.

Looks good, very good, in fact - mind if I proofread and edit it a bit?

I'm only fifteen years old, but I'm wise beyond my years
I've been through warm and cold, through blood and sweat and tears.
My life has come a long way, though it feels so very short.
I steered my life through white and grey and colors of every sort.
My whole life's still ahead of me, so I shall not turn back.
There is so much I haven't seen, much more to learn in fact.
Life isn't something you can plan, you take it as you go.
Just always have an open hand; don't let your head hang low.
Although you may feel hopeless, and may sometimes need a lift,
Whether you're rich or homeless, life in itself's a gift. Sometimes it comes too fast and you don't know how to deal
Looking back on what has past, you'll see your wounds will heal.
Emotions can be confusing and awfully hard to express
But I have to stop refusing, and just try to do my best.
For I have a long way to go before I understand.
I have so much time to grow, to gain the upperhand.
We're young, but are not fools; our minds are not at rest.
We go through all the tough times too, try to understand your best.
Growth doesn't always come with age; it also comes with feeling.
Although we're on a different page, just imagine with what we're dealing.
The years go by so very fast; now it's already December
And not all memories last; although you may not remember
But try to open up your eyes and see the things we go through.
No, we don't yet have adult lives, but we are suffering, too.
