okay my friend (we'll call him MJ) and his friend (we'll call him CRS) told me today that they smoke. CRS said that he only smokes cigerettes and MJ said that he's smoked Mary Jane because it made him feel happy. i don't why CRS smokes cigerettes. anyway. now i'm confused as to whether or not i should talk with MJ, because my parents always told me that if any of my friends did any sort of drugs that i shoudn't be their friend anymore. now, MJ is a really good friend of mine and i don't want to stop being friends, but i'm not sure if i would be able to talk to him anymore knowing that he does Mary Jane. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

I wouldn't stop being their friends. This might be when they need friends the most. Be there for them and talk with them. Let them know how you feel and that you don't want to watch them ruin their lives. It all seems harmless but they can get in a lot of trouble if they get caught , or do something really stupid. If you are a true friend of MJ, you will tell his parents so they can help him. He is using bad judgment and it may have a very bad effect on his life. If he continues the way he is going, you will probably lose him as a friend anyway, because he will be hanging with the stoners instead. So, go and tell one of his parents that you are very concerned for MJ and that he has started using MJ.
If he gets proper treatment, maybe your parents will not mind you being friends with him.:)

i hate that subject but it is reality and u just need to tell him what it does to him but when my parents smoked i hated it and i kept telling them that each cigarette they take actually takes off 2 min. out of there life but i must not have showed them how bad smoking is because they died from smoking but those things happen if that does not work by telling him what it does tell his parents and just ask to keep it a secret and u don't want her parent to tell him that u reported him. i hope it works out and do not bale on ur friend he sounds like a good guy just his choices aren't so good.

Who cares if he smokes? Just don't let him influence your behavior. As long as you stay drug-free let him do whatever he wants, and don't try to give him a lecture.
