Yes, you can play ps1 and ps2 games on the ps3. it has some issues with some games but there will be an upgrade to fix that minor problem. and about the ps1 ps2 memory cards needed u dont need them to save they are stored on the hard drive. if u want to transfer the saves from memorty card to the system you need a adapter only 15$.Over all the ps3 is a great console just got one on ebay they are expensive any more as they were when they first came out.

I think that I read that it could. I would think so since it can still play regular DVDs. That is the main reason it is so expensive, because it can play Blue-Ray and standard DVD format. That and the awesome graphics. Me, myself am going to get a Nintendo Wii and wait until the price goes down for the PS3. Go to Playstation's website, it will tell you everything you will neen to know about the PS3. I think it's www.playstation.com, but if not, just google PS3 and it will be listed there somewhere. Yeah but u need a ps3 memory card and u can only play ps2 games not ps1 games.

but you still need a PS1 memory card to save your PS1 game progress, and a PS2 memory card to save your PS2 game progress.

so far, your wife is wrong... about the PS2 games, for PSX(1st version) I have no clue rlly... Ofcourse so far we've only seen the 1st version of the PS3 and its ofcourse gonna get more versions which would be better so maybe later in the future, for now save your money to when its cheaper and more upgrades to it

computer's windows xp system and works perfect ! ask
your ex wife were did she'd get them (playstations) at ? unless
xbox360 better only for 1-2 players reccomended
