Depends on the modem, easiest thing to do is get a DSL router and plug the PS2 into that. Easy as pie.

agree with the first response. buy a router and run a cable back to both your PC and another to the ps2.

insert the disk that came with the ps2 and follow the on screen instructions to do the one time setup / configuration of your online service.

I think you just hool it up to the ethernet port on the PS2 and I guess it should work hopefully.
