It's ridiculous. Mary Carey is not as well known, but she's been around a while. I assume Mariah Carey just hasn't seen her own face on ET and tabloids lately and thought she'd get some attention with this.

Sounds crazy to me. Just as crazy as a local store being sued by Victoria's Secret. The name of the store was Victor's Little Secret. This case went all the way to the supreme court. The owner was forced to change the name of his store. Just goes to show what a corporation that can afford high priced lawyers can do. It just baffles me why Victoria's Secret would be so concerned over a little establishment in a small southern town. The name's sound nothing alike. Even a MORON wouldn't get them confused. The store is now called Cathy's Little Secret.

Plenty of people have the same last name and first name initial. Is she going to sue them all? Perhaps, Mariah wants the Ho reputation all for herself.

I think that the American society misuses lawsuits like so many pregnant teenagers misuse abortion for birth control. WAY overused. Plus Mariah Carey is ugly.

Always trying to make another dollar.... that is bull. I would kick her a*s and tell her she wishes she had a body like mine. Mariah Carey is a loser. I like her songs, but she sucks as a person.

i wasn't aware, but that is kinda weird. -unless they were basing their movies on the real mariah carey. -if i was rich and someone did that to me, i'd sue them too
