Why do we appease these people? Can't you see that they want us to become like them or be no more? Just look at what iran is trying to do. Don't you get it?

I don't get in other people's business,but when they attack my country it's my business. And the so called peaceful ones, they come here and want us to change Our ways so they can live like they are in the middle east. They can stay there cause I'm not changing!

Oh I get it, most people on here (and in the USA) don't get it. That's what is scary.
Just think of all the places where Muslims cannot get along with their neighbors...
Middle East, Europe, (Sudan, Darfur). Somalia, Philippines, Indonesia,
Radical Islam is involved in a worldwide war against non-Muslims. We are just in the beginning.

Lord, lord the drama is in full swing today on YA. Nobody in the States is succumbing to any such thing. Who on Earth are you talking about? Don't YOU get it? The Muslim countries in the Middle East don't want us to be like them, they want us DEAD, by any means possible. We aren't appeasing anyone, we are playing world politics American style. We all see what Iran is doing. Do you really think the rest of us are wearing bifocals while you have vision? They are proliferating quickly, while we are busy floundering in Iraq. They see the United States military numbers are almost exhausted from our presence in Iraq, Afghanistan and the other areas of the world where we have bases. That nutjob in Iran knows we are hardly in a position to attack his country and he's using that to his full advantage. The Middle East is a ticking time bomb and we're holding the fuse. Geez girl watch some dang political shows or something and get informed.

Since when do muslims want to convert us? We are the ones who go to other nations to shove our way down their throats. I've not once ever had a muslim knocking at my door to change my beliefs.
You are one of the lame people among many who listened to Bush declare that terrorists hate our freedom. By never having to really pay attention to the complex set of political events that have led up to the world's current state, you can keep asking ignorant questions like this.

There was no compulsion of American adopting a Muslim life style. They liked at and adopted Islamic way of life. I am Muslim. I have great love and respect for Americans for their commitment to law , human rights and democracy. American Government is supporting us for our right cause. I do not agree with some remarks of President of Iran. Please be aware of media which is some times paint false image of Muslims by not giving complete background facts. On terrorism I will say that Osama ,Saddam and Iran have in the past supported American cause. Please pray for success of American troops who are protecting innocent Iraqi people.

Islam has many diferent divisions and is a very peaceful religion when you look at it in depth. Iran is one example of ONE SECT, not the whole religion. I actually respect the Americans who have looked deeper into Islam and learned about it, whether or not they convert. I'm not Muslim myself but through my studies, I've come to better understand, repsect, and be an ally to Muslim people.

i havent seen any americans wanting to convert to islam. If they do, then they should, it is their free will. the main thing is to achieve the most peaceful state. right now, peaces seems impossible as if we dont wage war, we are putting ourselves at risk to radical islamists that want americans to convert. if we do then we are killing innocents and causing more frustration. if we lose, we will have to give in, if we win, and kill terrorists, more are going to replace them. the answer to violence is NOT violence. the answer to violence is peace and negotiation. please do not say "muslim" way and then say "they". it is not all muslims that are so single aimed. it is islamists that want to restore the days of muhammad by converting all. there are three main groups in the middle east. the sunnis, who are typically associated with hostility towards americans. the shiites, which are constantly at war with sunnis. shiites initially supported american involvement in iraq, but lately have started adopting resistance. then there are kurds, which are generally inhabitants of the region knwo nare kurdistan. they are quite supportive of america and are a large part of the politics. we must remember in the end though, that the war against conversion and terrorism cannot be fought slowly and with much violence, but must be sift, intelligent and carefully planned. i think all religions are great, it is the way they are implemented that is wrong. vouch for peace and be the best person you can. stay out of other people's businesses but stand up for yourself. long live peace and unity!

Osama and a group called al-queda attacked us on 9-11...
why do Republicans not ever talk about going after them? have they forgotten about those that did attack us on 9-11?
all they ever talk about anymore is Iran and "Islamic radicals"... but hardly ever Osama and DEFINATELY never say to get Osama or focus on him...

Religion, is twisted by person-kind. Right winged Christians are as bad as Militant Muslims. And just as far away from the truth.
The bible asks you to give to those in need the Full Amount they need - I do not see that happening in any religion. For if it did-Poverty would end everyone could afford a bed and to be fed.
