Or is Universal better?

Universal Studios definitely isn't better than any Disney Theme Parks. I try to go to Walt Disney World each summer, and the best part in my opinion is EPCOT. There's no other EPCOT at any of the other Disney Resorts and the majority of the attractions have not been copied at any of the other Disney Parks. I love EPCOT because it has an excellent selection of attractions, as well as entertainment and restaurants. Plus, one of the most amazing things I've done in my life took place at EPCOT. I took the Seas Aqua Tour at the Living Seas and got to swim in the aquarium with the sharks, sting rays, and sea turtles. It was so awesome! I also think the Geosphere and the attraction inside, Spaceship Earth, is one of the best Walt Disney World icons. And at night they have a fireworks/pyrotechnics display that is out of this world - IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Also, EPCOT is the largest of the parks besides Disney's Animal Kingdom Park (but most property at the Animal Kingdom isn't visible by Guests.) You could fit three Magic Kingdoms within EPCOT!

Magic Kingdom is by far the best part, and you can spend the most time there (especially with little kids). But don't miss EPCOT. It is easily the most romantic, and educational and great for adults.(Ah... the food!) Animal kingdom is a big zoo. It's cool, but not necessary. MGM is is ... well.. TV& movies. Good rides, but most of us spend too much time with the TV anyway. I think anyone would agree that Universal can't really compete with the Disney Magic. It's like actually leaving the everyday world for a while.

i am 25 and find have been in the Disney family (pass holder) for 9 years and i love each of the Disney parks for there own special reasons animal kingdom stands out more because of the animals and very laid back atmosphere second would be Epcot third MGM only because of tower of terror and there night time show. and magic kingdom last only because it is always the most populated of the 4 major Disney parks in Florida (Disney also owns indoor park and water parks) but what i find fun and exciting the next would not

It really depends on what you're looking for. Your best bet is to go between September and Thanksgiving, it's the least crowded, shorter lines and waits, and with a park hopper ticket you can visit the best parts of each park in one day. On my days off, I would catch a ride on Space Mountain and Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom, then head to MGM Studios for a ride on the Tower of Terror, lunch at the Primetime Cafe, then Epcot for a visit to the Living Seas, France, Morroco, Japan for dinner, fireworks and lazer show, then to Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island for the Comedy Warehouse and the Adventurer's Club. Universal had good rides for more mature folks, but lacked the magic Disney has.

All of the parades at the parks are fantastic. I especially like the parade at Animal Kingdom, the Jammin' Jungle parade. Also, the fireworks are magnificent!! Epcot's Illuminations and Magic Kingdom's Wishes.

I would definitely not say that Universal is better! WDW is much better than that other place!

The Magic Kingdom because that is the trademark of Disney. And you get to see a lot of Mickey Mouse.

it depends
disney magic kingdom is for younger kids
disney epcot is for young adults and teens and some adults
mgm is for adults (because of the two rides (rocking roller coaster + tower of terror) and most of it is shops)
animal kingdom is good if u like roller coasters and animals
universal is good for people who like to go to the movies (because every ride is based on a universal pictures movie(shrek, back to the future, jaws,et))
island of adventure is good if u like roller coaster, super heroes, and water rides
seaworld is good if u like water rides, roller coasters, sea animals, and shows were animals have been trained to perform
