AFC - L.T. (no question)
NFC - Drew Brees (has been on fire this season, nobody really saw it coming)
NFL - Tomlinson, again no doubt about it.

LT's MVP campaign is a joke. Seriously, without him, the Chargers would be about the same. Their backup Michael Turner is one of the top 10 RBs in the NFL and their QB Phillip Rivers is really good.
It's ridiculous to campaign for Peyton Manning for MVP because he's an overrated player who is too passive to ever be a truly great QB. How many games has he lost in his career due to indifference? Anyway, didn't Jim Sorgi (who?) play pretty good for the Colts last year and lead them to a 1-1 record?
You can't give the MVP to any Patriot because Brady's having an awful year and they don't have a truly valuable player.
Drew Brees would be a option, but considering the amount of weapons on that offense, just about any QB could throw for 4,000 yards. He's not MVP material, he's a system QB.
You could give the MVP to Larry Johnson, but without him, the Chiefs would still be a contender as history has proven time and time again.
The player who truly exemplifies what the MVP stands for is Steve McNair. He doesn't have great numbers, but how many games would the Ravens have won without McNair?
The second best option is probably Vince Young. He took over an 0-4 team and has since led them to a 6-3 record, including 2 losses by a mere point. But you can't give the MVP to a rookie.
If MVP awards are given out to the most valuable player, you must give it to the most valuable player, not some guy who made a 1 or 2 win difference, but rather a guy who made a 5 or 6 win difference. That's why McNair should be the obvious choice for MVP.
But after the Heisman gave the award to the least deserving finalist in consecutive years (Vince Young and Matt Leinart are better players than Reggie Bush and both Quinn and McFadden are better than Troy Smith) based on the idiotic biases of ESPN, I won't be surprised if they vote the MVP to Tomlinson without even thinking about the definition of Most Valuable Player. At least ESPN couldn't bias college football into putting a team that didn't win its conference into the title game, however the voters did ignore the most worthy #2, the Boise State Broncos (if there are 2 undefeated teams at the end of a college season, they should automatically play in the title game and conference losers have no business playing for a national title).

Top Five Canidates
MVP
Ladian Tomilson: Because he is on a tear through the record books this season
1st Runner Up
Drew Brees: Playing great for a QB in a new system. Leading a team who was in the gutter last year to the playoffs
2nd Runner Up
Tony Romo: He turned the Dallas Organization around into being playoff contenders. He is a definite pick for the Quarterback of the Year award.
3rd Runner Up
Larry Johnson: He has been holding his own and is 2nd only to LT
4th Runner Up:
Frank Gore: Where the hell did this guy come from, he is playing like a superstar rusher. I pick the 49ers next year to win at least wild card because of him
These are my picks, I know I left out Brian Urlacher but his entire Denfense has been doing a great job and plus Shawn Merriman is playing like the Defensive Player of the Year

Lt is an unanimous MVP. Drew brees is quarterback of the year without argument. Maurice Jones-Drew deserves rookie of the year. (9 rushing touchdowns, 2 receiving touchdowns and 1 kickoff returned for a touchdown) thus far. and not to mention a record setting 303 multi purpose yards against the Colts. not many rookies are that productive.

i don't understand with regard to the "face of the NFL" yet there are some great type acts accessible. Kurt Warner includes ideas. he's a real type act. Is in touch in many commendable charities, participates in many in touch non income agencies, and is a spiritual chief in his community. To me, the ability of impression to the loads is plenty extra significant than merely taking part in soccer for the NFL by myself, while you evaluate that impression they own over others will help set up a beginning which will inspire honor and integrity, so as that destiny generations could stay in a healthy society long as quickly as all of us have departed from this earth. there is great achievement in that impact plenty extra beneficial than merely taking part in soccer and a few of those gamers (like Kurt Warner, McNabb, Payton Manning, etc) get that. i've got faith that mentality no longer merely defines a participant to be a style act between men, even with the undeniable fact that that's possessing that form of character and employing it to enlighten and inspire others that elevates one to the status of being "the face of the NFL" in my e book.

LT without question! He already has 29 TD's and is currently second (only five yard behind first) in rushing yardage. The Chargers would literally be nowhere without him. Everybody else is not even a close second!!!
