3month old puppy chews toes off of a 1 mopnth old baby, parents are blaming 3 month old puppy for doing it. Puppy may have done it but he did not know it was wrong. Puppies chew. I blame parents for putting baby where puppy to get to it and chew off toes. Where were they while it was going on? If they were in the room none of the toes would have been lost. It is a pit bull puppy.

It is definetely the parents fault. They are blaming the puppy to cover their own mistake. You are right. What kind of person leaves a pit bull(puppy or not ) together with a baby under no supervision.I will tell you a J.a.c.k.a.s.s.!!!!!! Now youll probably read how the pit bull breed is awful etc etc.Granted they are an aggressive breed but you reap what you sow.It is in the upbringing.

I agree with Bob G. That was my first thought when I read that story yesterday; the baby had to be screaming in pain. How could the parents "sleep" through that?? Either those parents were completely passed out (drugs) or they left that baby alone. They do not deserve to be parents or dog owners for that matter. Poor baby. Poor puppy.

It's th eparent sfault, puppy was acting like puppies dochewing things, his gums probaly itched a lot and he was acting by his instincts. Besides he was probablytrying to play with the baby andthat why he chewed off the toe.

I feel sorry fro the baby & th eparents, but it's the parents fault.

The dog was three months old and teething. His was going to find something soft to chew on. It didn't make any difference if he was a pit bull or German Shepperd. I blame the parents for that one definitley.

The whole thing sounds wrong. They were supposedly sleeping right next to the baby and they didn't hear anything? You know the baby had to be screaming.

I certainly blame the parents but I think they are lying to protect themselves. I think the baby might have been left alone.

you know, you'd think they would hear the child screaming. The first mistake was leaving the child unattended with an animal. The second mistake was leaving a puppy unsupervised. I think these parents must have some real mental damage.

The parents are sickening!
I wonder if the puppy was hungry?
More than likely it was teething.
Poor baby and pup!

blame the parents....think about it this way....if the kid broke a jar, u wouldnt balme him cuz he didnt know ne better, the puppy is a kid too...that is wat parents are for...watching the kids....if they suspected at all that the puppy liked to chew on thinks, then keep him locked up away form the kid until supervision comes.
