The other day I was playing volleyball and someone accidently kicked the ball, to pass it and it smacked me right in the face, my eyes started watering and my nose has been in pain ever since especially if I touch it even slightly, it's also become harder to breathe not a lot but almost as if I have a cold (which I don't),It's also a bit swollen and red. I'm thinking about going to the doctors but I'm not sure if it is even broken. What do you think?

you should definitely go to the Dr. It may not be broken, but it does sound like an injury you should have checked out.

You should go to the doctor as you may have damaged your sinuses, etc. Usually, they do nothing until the swelling has subsided even if it is broken. Then they take some xrays.. My daughter slipped in a shower in the dorm at college, broke her nose, and ended up have surgery because there were pieces of cartilage embedded in her sinuses. Withou surgery, she would have eventually had a lot of sinus infections etc. Wasn't fun but 4 years later, she has no problems and a really good looking nose job that was covered by the insurance as a medical necessity.

I'm a nurse. You should go to the doctor. If it is broken there is little they can do to fix it once the bones try to heal itself. Having difficulty breathing is also concerning. Go to the doctor. Even if it's not broken you could have a chipped bone in there. Good Luck.

If you can't even touch it slightly, and you're nose is stuffy, chances are it's broken. Skip the doctor,and go to the emergency room.

ouch sounds painful!
id say go to the dreded doctors even just to make sure!
Once i was having a play fight with someone and he elbowed me in the nose and there was this massive crack and my nose hurt for litrally 3 weeks after that n now i get blood noses easiely and it cracks alot when i rub it so no it porb isnt broken but its a good idea just to go to them and get it checked out!

If it is harder to breathe that is a sign you need to see the doc and get this checked out. Go see the doc and find out what is going on.

sounds like it, if you got black eyes at any point then alsmost definately.
go to the doctor anyway, there isnt much they can and will do if it is a small fracture but he might give you something to help the pain and inflammation
