I know of some children especially on farms whose chores are more intense than a lot of paying jobs.

In the US it is in fact illegal to exploit any form of labor worker no matter what their age. Especially the very young and the very old. That is a very good thing even though most cases are never reported because they or their family depend on the income just to survive. No matter how they are treated. That is what it comes down to. Food to eat, a place to sleep without being on the street. To be able to eventually come in out of the cold, rain, heat or snow. To be able to eat , sleep and know they are needed for something! That is a powerful motive indeed for anyone of any age. Wouldn't you agree? It makes me think about humanity as a whole, no matter where it occures in the world. It is again a sign of humanitys inhumanity to man. We are our own worst enemy. This is a situation that humanity has created for their own greed and profit. Remember that in some countries female children are murdered at birth because they hold no significant value in society. Cry for the children! and all people who are mistreated in any way. God Bless and Merry Christmas.

You obviously don't know much about child labor, and that's really sad. Check out this link on Child Labor and educate yourself, please.
"The Children's Rights Division at Human Rights Watch has focused its efforts on the worst forms of child labor, those prohibited by the ILO’s Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention. Children who work long hours, often in dangerous and unhealthy conditions, are exposed to lasting physical and psychological harm. Working at rug looms, for example, has left children disabled with eye damage, lung disease, stunted growth, and a susceptibility to arthritis as they grow older. Children making silk thread in India dip their hands into boiling water that burns and blisters them, breath smoke and fumes from machinery, handle dead worms that cause infections, and guide twisting threads that cut their fingers. Children harvesting sugar cane in El Salvador use machetes to cut cane for up to nine hours a day in the hot sun; injuries to their hands and legs are common and medical care is often not available. You have a President called Bush, why don`t you remind him of his duties`s regarding children labor.
It is not allowed in Europe, you are not allowed to work until the age of sixteen, after leaving school, which is a minimum of 9 years.
If you want to be the future President, tell the world and you will find people at your side

When people talk about child labor in other countries they're not usually reffering to the easy jobs we have here. There's little kids working in sweatshops and mines in other countries for pennies a day.
