I'm gay so I've encountered countless stereotypes, but surprisingly, most of them come from within the gay community. As a gay guy, I'm supposed to worship Britney Spears, buy all of my clothes from A&F or Dolce & Gabana, spend all my money on tanning, getting hightlights and a nice car, and spend every night of the week at the clubs sipping Sex on the Beach and dancing. That's just not me.

I'm also asian, I hate the stereotypes that asians are nerds who are good at math, music, etc.

It always annoys me when some smug non-asian at the gym gets surprised when I lift more than he does.

I also loathe the stereotype that asian men hate women. A lot of white feminsts I meet give me that vibe, some have even openly expressed their opinion to my face (after they feel comfortable telling me what they think).

Smply because some asian societies have strict gender roles and are oppressive to women (which also occurs in other cultures worldwide, including the US) does not mean that Asian-American men are misogynists. It really depends on the man, and to justify stereotypes based on someone's race and gender under the guise of "feminism" really bothers me. My sister has also had some white feminists ask her about her "oppression" and give her advice on how she can be "liberated." Ugh.

They need to learn to stop speaking FOR their 'sisters,' and learn to listen and speak with them instead.

But I generally dislike any stereotype applied to anyone, for the purpose of proving inferiority or superiority.

Things are changing for the better though!

I hate the stereotype that Black women are all sassy.

Sure, some are very sassy but not all.

In general I don't like hearing negative things about any group of people because often times they aren't true. It's just that the person saying them may have limited exposure.

That being agnostic finally implies an unwillingness or lack of ability to choose on a part. Many Agnostics are incredibly decisive whilst it includes particular gods. i comprehend that I have not got any situation pointing out that the JCI god is fake inspite of no count if from the jewish, christian or islamic franchises. it is likewise incredibly common to brush off Odin, Jupiter, Zeus and Chuck Norris as gods to boot. yet to arbitrarily brush off the assumption out of hand with out any information heavily isn't a step i'm prepared to take, nor do i think of it unreasonable. For me agnosticism is finally appropriate to the origins of our universe. i've got not got an answer, no longer even close. and albeit God did it incredibly is a susceptible intent that purely replaces the question with a clean one, the place did that god come from, nevertheless a something from no longer something experience. until there are not to any extent further questions, it style of feels stupid to retire from the sector presuming to comprehend the respond. And there'll continuously be questions, for this reason being agnostic must be default.

I'm Russian and supposedly "it's very cold all the time in Russia and the polar bears wondering around." So, people assume that I shouldn't be cold when it snows and it's 30 F in Chicago.
