What do you think is better DS or DSlite... i personally like the original becuase my friend has a new DSlite and when he puts it in his pocket it keeps turning on.

I think the original Ds is soo much better than the Ds Lite.The Ds Lite has a stupid power button and the Ds Lite is so lite-weight it can break easily, also you have to charge it more often since they took most of the stuff out to make it lighter.So i would go with the Ds cause if you ever drop it on the ground it wont break as easily, you don't have to charge it as often, and it wont turn on if you put it in your pocket or wherever you put it!

Well I just bought a new and my first DS Lite and I must say I am impressed. Its looks really very good and very very simple to operate. Its sleek and buid quality is superb. The screen has three brightness settings and its a whole light brighter than the previous DS.You have choices of three colors - Polar White, Onyx Black and Pink. The controls are very easy to use. And its compatible with most of the DS and GameBoy advance games. The small size is not a problem at all as you can confortably hold it and play.

I like the original DS better. I like to feel some substance in my portable and the DS Lite looks and feels like an Ipod.

I would go w/the DS cuz its got some weight and i think that feel better, plus looks so much better! DS lite is ugly. since DS is heavier, you can hit people with it too 4 self-defense!

DS lite, because your friend has a loose switch. bring it to bestbuy and they will make a trade in for it. back to topic, dslites are easier to use,brighter, and for new games you can talk on wifi and the other people can hear you, on mario kart, you can choose to only talk to sertant people or everybody!!! plus the mic is in a convienant place

The Nintendo DS Lite because of its smallness and the 20% more brighter screen. However, it's the same sh*t!!!

i would say the Lite only because the screen brightness is soo much better. But i LOVE my original ds.

DS Lite is better because its smaller, lighter, and brighter. The Old ds is bulkier. The old ds is ....old.

DS, I find the DS Lite too small, also, it doesn't come with a thumb-nub/strap.
