My long-term boyfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship. We see each other when we can, which is about once a month.. I have just returned from a weekend spent at his place, in his city. He is trying to find a job in my country. He said one thing, which is in on my mind. He asked me if I could imagine living in a big city like he does now? What does it mean when a guy asks you that kind of question?

Very easy. He wants you to consider the possibilty of relocating to a big city maybe even the one he lives in now. This also means hes not likely to want to move to a small town either

wow, I think I might have some expertise in this area. I am from Canada and my boyfriend Australia...but we are living in europe together for work. Long distance sucks, so the fact that your relationship can last so strongly is really commendable, and hopefully means you can get through anything. I think that he is trying to indicate that he wants to be together, although don't be too quick to abandon everything in your life. I think that if he is the right one however, that you will make compromises between you just to be together since that is the only thing that really matters. Good luck girl!

Sounds like he just wonders what it would be like to be in a normal relationship. Right now you both have so much space from each other. Maybe he wonders if you would feel obligated to spend every minute with him?

Don't jump to conclusions...In time he will tell you...I think maybe he wants to be closer to get to know you better....If you see someone once a month is not enough time to get excited about getting married.....Don't get excited until he pops the question....

He wants to be close you. He wants to knownif you would be ok moving to be closer to him, and if so this could open a new door to your relationship!

he doesn't want to come to where u live, he would like it better if u came to his city. he wants u with him, in the city.
