No, he is not conservative, he leans to far left. The second term I did not vote for him either, he proved himself a liar. Just like the lie about a balanced budget. You take a 60 billion dollar defecit add 92 billion from the SSA and all of a sudden you have a 32 billion dollar surplus and SSA has a 92 billion dollar IOU!

I voted for him twice and was very sad he couldn't run a third time.

He was the best president we had in a very long time.

The Bush Boys and especially the actor were pious do-nothings...in my opinion.

His personal life had nothing to do with how he ran the country....in my opinion.

No, neither time. I voted for G.H.W. Bush in 1992, and Dole in 1996.

I didn't vote for Slick Willy in 1992 because of his history, and his threat to force gays-in-the-military issue.

I didn't vote for Slick Willy in 1996 because I thought he was criminal... assault, sexual harassment, and rape.

I've never voted for a Dem. President... but I have voted for Senator Feinstein each time she runs.

I voted for Bill Clinton both in 1992 & 1996.
1992 - George Bush (the 1st) had not been a good president, and I didn't want to see him back in office.
1996 - Bob Dole seemed to be a good leader but I didn't really trust him.

NO I thought he was too full of himself before the vote. Then he proved it after.

I didn't. I thought he was trying too hard to be hip and cool. Besides that, I did some research into his time as Arky Governor and didn't like all the controversy that followed him. Bad sign in my opinion.
