they are sister signs because they are six signs away (half ways through the zodiac) so they are polar opposites and opposites attract! they complement one another and there is usually a strong attraction there. im an aries and i used to date a libra (sister signs) and boy do opposites attract. but in my case it went bad. so it could either go really great or it could go down even worse!

There is more to it than just reading the signs. Whatever the projection says for his sign for your sign doesn't count for any thing if your personalities conflict because of family conflicts, genetic imbalances, or any other outside influences .
It sure would be nice if we could read the signs and say okay, here's what will happen today, and here's what you should do today, and everybody will be happy. Well unfortunately that doesn't really happen all the time. Sure, sometimes, the horoscope is actually right on. But, most of the time however, it misses it by a country mile.

The astrologers forget to tell you that the stars have shifted and you actually weren’t born under the sign you think. That’s not a joke, it’s a fact. They just go by the old timeline chart from ancient times but it‘s useless. So is astrology so just get to know the person before you get serious.

Will you forget the astrology crap! If you two like each other, then date! Only time will really tell if you two are compatible. It takes time and work to make a relationship successful.

short answer (using sun signs alone) ... if opposites attract, yes.
long answer (taking all of astrology into account) ... depends. an astrologer can do a synastry chart for you two, or a composite chart but it will probly just tell you alot of things you already know. but there is lots of things to take into consideration if your looking relationships through an Astrologer's perspective. such as your moon signs, your mars, his venus, your mercury positions. where your planets fall in his houses. other interesting aspects, involving all other planets. its difficult to just say you are perfectly compatable without seeing for yourself.
