If so.....you may want to reconsider.

Apparantly Nestle's Good Start Infant Formula with Iron was tested by the FDA, who found that the levels of calcium and phosphorus were not only below what the FDA requires, but also below what the product label states!

I read in an article about this that the amount of melamine is equivalent to a few drops in a rainbarrel - that's very minute. I wouldn't worry about it too much - melamine is in a lot of things that your baby will touch and be exposed to. hstris - get off your high horse.

wow, that is not good. My baby was on nestle good start with iron for one month. In that month she did not gain one single pound so I changed her back to enfamil and she has gained 2lbs in one month. Good thing I changed the brand. I wont be using them again for sure.

I use the walmart brand, I talked to my pediatrician and he told me that they all are basically the same since they are so strictly regulated by the FDA so for the same amount of formula I pay 10.34 instead of 23.97 for the Good Start Brand.

I think I tried every formula on the market to find one that my baby was okay with. He is now on Good Start (when he doesn't get breast milk) and now I'm worried.
