There's one (almost) sure-fire way to find out. Ask the person. That's it. You can't tell by how someone looks or acts. Anyone who claims you can tell is full of...I'm going to be polite and let you fill in the last word there.

This is a very big topic in this section, I cannot count how many times I've seen it and how many times people critisize homosexuality with their answers.
Homosexual men are generally very feminine, being into fashion, shaving their body, sometimes even crossdressing; however not all gay guys do that. As homosexual women are less likely to dress like the opposite gender, but those who do might wear baggy clothes and neglect their hair by cutting it off or putting it in a ponytail, and walking very spaced out etc. There is nothing wrong with this, everyone thinks it is so wrong but let me tell you something, at least 20% of those who can successfully act straight are bisexual or fullblown homosexual. Just because that girl might have better levels of estrogen, or that guy have better testosterone doesn't mean they are straight. I am bi, sometimes I flirt with other guys and about a quarter of them don't push me off when I put my arm around them or hold their hand, etc.

did u know thats its alot easier for a gay man to come out off the closet when someone asks him are u gay ? then it actually is for the man to come up to u and tell u .

Mostly? If you see them doing something intimately romantic with someone of the same sex. Otherwise? No way to tell.
