If you could go back into time and were able to kill Hitler when he was a baby, would you do it? You wouldn't dare kill him, haven't you learned not to mess with the space time continuum?

Consider the possible consequence. You kill Hitler as a young child, years later, say 1933, Ernst Roehm instead becomes dictator, in mid 1930s, HE decides to begin 'heavy water' experiments which lead to the first nuclear bomb built in 1939. With that device, he easiliy defeats mother russia and the allies, and the Final Solution is 'completed.'

Your mistep in the space time continuum caused the death of ALL European Jewry and enslavement of half the planet...way to go!....you should'a stayed home in bed where it was safe and leave the living to others..

Wouldn't you rather live in a world in which none of us ever, for any reason, took the law into our own hands andkilled another human being? That means no wars. That means an entire world full of individuals so advanced, so superior, so much ready for advanced teaching this world is not ready for now that we are in a whole different category, better from every standpoint. That means better able to mix with and help and work with and and for wide numbers of people in the universe for doing good!
No if I could I dont want to go back in time and kill someone that is evil. I wouldn't do it. If it really needs to be done, you can bet that people much smarter than me will figure out a way to have it done. Meanwhile my record on this world needs only to be brought up not down.

It is tempting...and I would probebly kill Hitler but I just wouldn't do it because I would be so traumnatized from killing someone. Besides, events happen that make our world. People would be so different if that didn't happen. Ibelieve God sets events weither they are big or small to help us someday. I know it may not seem like it and sometimes lives are taken away but I think he is trying to show us how strong we can overcome and step forward...moveing on and look back at all the stuff we went threw and to realize that no one can stop us, only we can.

Although it would be incredibly tempting, I would not go. Time is something you should not mess with; the person you kill could end up being the lesser of two evils, as a result, a more horrible person could come to power. Not to mention the whole space-time continum would be screwed up.

i have to agree with The Elven Warrior Maiden above. And you could end up preventing the birth, or contributing to the death, of one of your direct ancestors - which of course would make you disappear with a poof when you knocked off the target of your ire.

Evil doesn't work through only one individual in any case. Kill the head of this kind of snake and it might immediately grow a worse head. That doesn't mean it shouldn't have been done at the time, but only that it's a job that can't end with just one remedial act.
