If you're saying 4-numeric digits, the number of combinations would be 10000: 0000 thru 9999. Alphanumeric gets more complicated, but the formula is approximately [number of digit possibilities] raised to the power of [number of digits], so [a-z 0-9] is 36 digits, 36^4 = 1679616 combinations. Making it case sensitive and adding symbols yields a significantly larger number.

There are only 9,999 possible combinations. Start at 0000, then 0001 all the way to 9999. That is it. I have used this to bypass my parents garage entry code.
