I absolutely love Ender's Game. It is one of the few books I read at least once a year. So that is what I thought of it. I empathized most with Valentine and Ender. Both are very well-developed, very 'human' characters. I loved the end. I thought it was great. You should read it for yourself obviously. But I suppose I'll tell you this much. It's about a young boy who's taken away from his family and placed in battle school on a space station. There he's taught how to be a soldier and defend earth from alien invasion. So it's set in space, it's a school full of children ranging from 6 to probably 14 or so. It's really interesting.

I love this book. It's one of my favorites. I probably identify the most with Valerie, but my professors this year are making me feel like I'm Ender--like every day there's more and more work and they're pushing me to the limit. The ending was beautiful and so profound.
What was it mostly about...I guess you'll have to read it, won't you. In fact, you definitely should. Just pick it up and start it, I promise you'll get into it. I've never met someone who didn't love this book, even people who don't like to read at all.
To Jembee 172--put it at the top of your to read list!

Sounds to me like someone was supposed to read this for a school report or something. It's on my To read list as it's one of the best sci-fi fantasy series or so I have been told by a few freinds, some of which are in publishing. It's a complex story for sure and aparently the girl who answered before me has either no taste or no imagination.

I read it my sophomore year in High School. The book was ok, don't really remember a whole lot about it though.

i HATED that book it was really boring and it made no sense to me whatsoever. The end was okay, but the whole space thing is really fake sounding
