Tell me if you agree or not, but I have feeling that this is the case of fear of something worst but not true. Bush and his goons claims that if we leave now then Iraq would become total disaster but isn't it another fear tactic Bush is using on us Americans again? What could be worst than it is now if we leave, in fact I think it's more than 50% of the reason Iraq is violet because of their hatred toward our soldiers on their land. That's what Osama Bin Ladan said the reason he attacked us cuz we occupied his holy land in Saudi Arabia after Desert Storm war. There was the huge possibliy that 9/11 wouldn't have happened if we didn't stayed in Saudi Arabia after we kicked Saddam back to Iraq.

I think that Iraq does need help.. but I agree that it shouldn't be from us.. it's the fact that it is the US there that is causing so much of the problem.. get another nation in there.. one we can trust and that the Iraqi's will feel more secure with to do the policing... IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE US!

Don't be naive. Occupation never justifies what is occuring now in Iraq, nor does it justify anything that bin Laden has done. Those are all smoke screens to cover the real reason for Muslim extremism: destroying Western Civilization.

As a Liberal Blue American I think we need more troops and also a huge Multi force Base built at Basrah.

I would like to see the start of construction of a deep water port. and a air base with 2, 20,000 ft runways to handle heavy C5's Also a Jet pad with 20 steam launchers for rapid deployment.

Also a VTOL pad for 1000 Black hawk Helicopters. A Predator Base and housing for 250,000 men

Go big Red Go

Why is losing even an option? The President of Iraq doesn't want us to leave yet. They are going to be taking more control of Baghdad, Iraq this week. The Saudi's have stated we should not leave yet. The only people saying leave are insurgents and democrats!

No, the time to leave would have been in the very beginning. Far too many brave men and women have died. To withdraw would pretty much mean there life was a waste, they would have died for no reason. The only choice now is to stay and get the job done.
