Umm...yes. If you are both in a confined space and you can't escape I would not only care, I'd care about my personal safety and his.
Jimmy might crack corn as a way to relate to other people. Ask Jimmy if he wouldn't mind TEACHING you how to crack corn. Hey it's another learned skill - might help you while away the time if you are fortunate enough to meet Jimmy's relatives THE CORN CRACKERS CHAMPIONS.
Oh I don't know....I love corny jokes...love corn...love popcorn...SEINFELDism "not that there's anything wrong with that" Enough already!

It depends on whether or not the Corn that he is cracking is mine.
It also depends on whether or not the Corn that he is cracking...or the fact that he's cracking the corn... effects me, my family, etc.
It also depends on whether or not the person cracking the corn --namely Jimmy-- has any right, authority, or know how, to crack the corn.
Hmm, what else could Jimmy be doing besides sitting on his Duff cracking corn? Is it earning him any income so that he can support himself so that his kids don't grow up sitting beside him cracking corn as well.... you know we don't need any more folks sittin' and crackin' corn!!
So... I guess all this is to say YES, YOU BETTA CARE!!
