20 at least! I just bought 4 cell phones from t-moble on family plan 2000. So I do not think I want to buy one for christmas this time.
You never know though what we may do!

Wow. I've had GTE on a Nokia 252 first
Then SprintPCS on a Qualcomm QCP-2700
I had 2 different plans on Sprint before I cancelled
I had a Nokia 5165 on Rogers AT&T
later changed to a Bosch 718 then a Nokia 5190 when they upgraded to GSM.
I had a LG 125 on Aliant
Now I have a Samsung on Cingular. I've also had the 5165 on various prepaid plans like Beyond Wireless and Justalk. Also had a T-Mobile To Go Nokia 6010 or something like that, unlocked it and use it on Cingular from time to time. Also have a Motorola v180 unlocked. I think I have enough GSM unlocked handsets at this point I could use a different phone every day of the week.

Maybe 5 (give take 1)I would call it more of a progression. Subtle changes to fit my needs. For instance, my first plan was with Sprint because they were the cheapest. Soon I realized their area coverage was not that great and quality of sound was sub-par. Then I swithched to Cingular, because they had the phones that I wanted. After my contract with them was up I dropped them because their quality of service was way below expectations (least amount of answering messege options). I looked at T-mobile, but they also had same kind of so-so quality of options in messeging. So I thought At&t will do . But their customer service were horrible. Each time the customer service lagged at majority will have no idea what they are talking about (bluffing info). Lastly I went with Verizon. Yes they are probably the highest in cost , but to me it's just a few bucks more for above average call quality, signal coverage, and generous calling options. However , phone selection is average at best , and although they have quick customer service, one may occassionally run into ones who have no idea what they are talking about , then again if they hire mass amount of people for low wage to deal with bunch of grumpy customers, that can be a given with any providers. In conclusion, I rate Verizon at the highest above others. Oh, and I used to switch phones like I change socks because of latest trend and models, as well as changing plans to add more minutes for I was constantly going over. Now days I've stuck with the same phones, because camera/video/mp3/ etc.. can be refined only so much. UNLESS they finally enable REAL TIME live video communications(they have in other countries) with no increase in cost.

Ive had Tmobile, ,and I hated it, so I switched to Cingular. I like Cingular, I havent had any trouble with them yet. I would love a new cell phone for Christmas, but there are other things I want more, my cell phone works fine for now.
