Oh, that's a tough one! I'm not sure.
But you are right, we take so many things for granted and forget to notice the beauty that surrounds us. I was driving home one evening and was on the interstate going about 70mph and there was the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen off to my right. The colors were absolutely incredible...I kept trying to glance over at it without causing a wreck. I just kept thinking how I would love to just be able to sit and look at that!! It wasn't until I was almost home and the sunset had started to fade that I realized that all I would have had to do was to pull over...or take an exit off the interstate....and stop....and sit and look at it. I was in such a hurry to get nowhere that I didn't even think about stopping for a moment to enjoy that. When it dawned on me I felt so stupid and it really made me realize that I needed to take more time to enjoy things around me and stop being in such a hurry all the time.
Thank you for reminding me!

Does she only have these symptoms during episodes? If she does its more likely she has an epileptic disorder, if she has symptoms like short term memory loss, Personality changes, and seizures it could be alot of things, but most of them are ruled out by The MRI. if all medical tests are done and they still find absolutely nothing medically wrong it could be a conversion disorder, but they need to do a EEG and a scan for deep brain epilepsy first

A miracle sight restoring cure.
But, I understand the spirit that impels you to post such a question. None of us should take for granted any moment of our lives. So many things could snuff out our lives with no warning. Since constan worry would paralyze us, better we spend our, few, stray moments of free consciesness on thinking of our blessings.
But really, if I KNEW I would lose my sight in the next ten minutes, I REAALLY would like to see the bottle of "Sight Cure" in my hands.
