There is no reason not to date just because you are saving yourself for marriage. How do you think you are gonna find that husband if you don't date? But you must make sure you stand your grounds to all the advances you don't want

Just because you choose to date, doesn't mean you have to goall the way. You can still date and save yourself for marriage. Go on and date, have some fun!!! If something starts to get serious explain to them the way you feel and it is meant to be they will understand.

seventeen? 17, is a good age to start dating. if your friends r dating doesent mean that u have too. i have the same problem,my friends r dating, but im not!!!!!! if u really want a date, and you really like someone, just tell him how u feel and that u want to date him... if he says NO, than mabe its not a right time to date or mabe hes not ready to date...

how important is dating to you? i'm eighteen, and i've avoided having a serious boyfriend because my academic career is important to me right now. where do you want to end up next year? think about that, and if there's any room for a boyfriend (and if you WANT one) you can go ahead and date. and if not, then thats fine, also.

hey i was the same way, but just because you date someone doesn't mean you have to hop in bed with them, too.

don't compromise wanting to save yourself for marriage, whatever you do...if it's something that's important to you--your potential partner should respect that and not try to force anything on you.

if you want to remain abstinint until marraige dating is tricky...it's okay to date as long as you have faith in yourself to resist temptaion...and if you do decide to date make sure your partner is okay with your beliefs and respects that

If there's someone that you are remotely interested in, i think you should date. It doesn't have to go any farther than that.

You live your own life, do what you thing is best for you and what makes you comfortable. Don't get "dizzy" from your friend.
