im 17 and all my friends are dating but im not a very chaste person and im saving it for marrige. should i date.

First of all I would like to say that I applaud you for saving it for marriage. I wish I would have. Anyway, sure I think that you should start dating if that is something that you feel comfortable with. Just remember to stick to your beliefs, because guys will do WHATEVER they can to take advantage if that. Some guys won't. Just try and remember to keep your head on straight and look out for any warning signs. If you experience any of them, then back out of the relationship. Not I'm not saying to be paranoid, but just keep that in the back of your mind. Overall I don't see a problem with dating at all. I hope this helps.

Wow, honestly, that decision is entirely up to you. Whatever you believe because of personal belief, family upbringing or religious, it's your choice to date or not to date. If the issue is about willpower, take a good look at how you feel you performed in past relationships and get some really good advice from someone who has been there. Shalom.

What does dating mean to you? Dating could be going out with someone you like, feel comfortable, and have a good time. This way you can know the person a little better.It does not have to get to the point.The guy respects your when you let him know to the point that you want to go.

I think you mean to say you ARE a chaste person. And I say yes, as long as you find a person who shares your ideals you could have an amazing time.

i agree. the decision is yours. but, be advised, that when you do start dating, the temptation may grow to the point where you might start to consider having sex. dont date if you cant handle the temptation. however, if you're saving yourself for marriage, you have to date someone first! good luck!

you should date--otherwise, how are you gonna get married? lol just keep your principles, and you'll be fine; plus, if all he wants is sex, then definitely kick him to the curb..but i'm sure you'll be fine, and if you have questions ask your friends, i'm sure they would be willing to help you out :)
