Unless you're already *very* close, lingerie is out of the question. If you want to get there some day, perfume and/or chocolates. If she really is just a friend, CDs or maybe a DVD boxset. Or maybe a fancy silk scarf. Women always love to get a nice scarf.

Look around town for a club having a ladies night and take her out on the town to get drunk. You'll save money cause you won't have to pay for the drinks, but you'll still have fun. if you like her more than just a friend, your gift can come later in the bedroom.
