Some people may abuse it, but it's a good alternative to using deadly force. Better catching a shock than catching two in the chest.

I am not sure what you feel is too liberal, that is use of tasers. Some police still carry billy clubs, which are more damaging that a shock. If only 200 or so people have died, that does not seem too great, if you consider the number of confrontations and arrests over all, must be in the millions. Finally, I am sure more people have died from being shot by a police officer than by being tasered. If you take away an effective deterrent, an officer may forced to use deadly force instead.

i imagine they definately must be banned as I somewhat have considered some pictures of police officials getting set off pleased with their taser and it truly is purely disgusting that they imagine they could be able to lord their authority over electorate in this manner of unfavorable way. To be uncomplicated in the adventure that they are preserving a gun, they must be experienced to apply it in a way that isn't kill, i'd particularly be shot contained in the leg/arm than get tasered. i replaced into on an internet site that confirmed pictures of a pupil in u . s . of america getting tasered for no longer generating his lirary card. It shows the incident from the initiating and all he achieved incorrect replaced into perhaps take his time to %. away his books. Then at the same time as he did not upward thrust up -blatanly coz the soreness replaced into too a lot for him-they tasered him 3 extra circumstances. His screams of soreness were horrendous to hearken to.

I would much rather take the chance of dying from a taser than a real bullet, that's for sure!

No. Tasers rock.
But maybe they should have a limit to the voltage?

No, they should not be banned. My brother-in-law would much rather tase someone than shoot a perpetrator with a gun. The police know what it feels like too. They must each be tased as part of their training.
