Your time. Make a basket of a deck of cards, some peanuts and pretzels (or other snack foods that their health allows) and some beverages. Then make a certificate good for an evening of playing cards with you and add it to the basket. Set a date and time to get together when they open the gift.

Consider a black and white picture of you, with your siblings if any or your parents as a group.
Black and white film is cheap. Pick the best picture and have it enlarged to 8X10, then get a black frame and a black matting for it.
Inexpensive and you see more in the picture because you are not looking at the color of the picture you are looking at the picture itself.
They would cherish it.

For my grandma i went to walmart and got a large terra-cotta pot. Then I painted it white, and then stenciled leaves, butterflies, and insects all over it. They absolutely loved it and used it to plant their flowers in by their front door. Probably a little over 10 dollars, but if you have white paint around the house and some sponges, you can cut out shapes and get some colored paint and sponge paint it.

A vase, a book, a hug, a picture of you and them in a do-it-yourself frame! They love those kind of keepsake things!
