I just got done reinstalling everything on my computer. now when I type in a website like gamehouse. com or click on some of the links in yahoo search my computer redirects me to a search page or monster.com. Is my computer infected? How can I resolve this? HELP. I know that I have the right addresses typed in. Even when I use the link in my favs.

Use Windows Defender,
Its good................. and its free.........
And also supported by Microsoft free of Charge.

Have you reformatted thehard disc? If not you carryout reformatting first. If data on your hard disk is corrupted it is advisable to format the hard disk and reinstall the operating system (usually Windows XP) More details at http://fixit.in/format.html

I use Xoftspy and Windows Defender and they seem to take care of anything the net can throw at me.

Use some spysweeper software like spybot or ad-adware

may not be virus.Try other websites whether it works fine.For all sites if it is doing the same then it can be a worm/virus.

Gamehouse.com may be down also.

use counterspy and spyware doctor .......These are the best spywares . u can download them from "www.download.com ".
