It doesn't have to cost a lot of money to have a great hair style for the holidays. Something inexpensive and simple to adorn your hair might be a good start. Give yourself time days before the event to experiment with hair dryers (defusers for curls) for body, curling irons for shape or straightening iron for sleekness, and some styling products (hairspray, mousse). Messy is in so don't fret about perfection....besides, at dances it's likely to get messed up. A little mousse and some twists make great feaux dreads -- particularly great for shorter hair. Washout hair streaks or a bit of glitz with glitter are simple solutions too.
P.S. A talented friend might be flattered for help and may let you share some of her supplies. At worst it could be a lot of fun.

Hello, wish you enjoy the party. Here is a very cheap and easy way to style your hair but if you like curly hair; wash your hair and dry it though not completely.then divide it into say 10 parts and braid these.go to bed and sleep.Untie each the following morning.you will look great...If you prefer straight hair try this; take a big bunch from the top roll it round a big roll and turn all the remaining hair around this roll.Again your hair should be wet and untie it the following morning.

I don't really know what you can do without having to go a salon. If you don't wanna pay the "big bucks" the maybe find a salon thats a little out of the way? My mom cuts hair in her basement and hairstyles- for recitals and weddings, etc.- are free.

ok, it depends on if your hair is streight or curly. if it is strait then curl it and take a hair clip and pull some hair back from the sides and clip i t in the middle of the back of your head that is what i did for one dance and i got sooooooo many complaments. it is always the way to go or if not take all of your hair and pull it u up and hold it with hair clips.
well hope i could help good luck!!!!!!!

leave some strands from behind your ear
to the side of your face
grab a ponytail and curl the ponytail
I would suggest you to have someone else do it but you can also do it on you own. I also think that you can go to website and look at her hairstyles.

One good choice is a simple ponytail tied with a ribbon with the ends tucked in. It can be simple and pretty. Another good idea is to just let it be down like it is. It is very pretty and elegent. Hope I helped!

just through your hair up in a ponytail they are easy and out of the way, but first blw dry it or curl it so it will still look good if you want to take it down

One popular style is the "handle". You use a lot of hairspray and sculpt your hair in the shape of a handle.
It's really cool.

Use a straightener and iron it out. It will look smooth and good if you have long hair especially.
