Sky has recently changed the channel order on the Astra Satellite so you may find that for BBC & ITV that you will in fact need a much larger dish to pickup the 2b signal in Southern Spain & Portugal. Most expats now install a VPN on their Laptops or Tablets and watch the UK TV channels on this connect to their TV sets. The speed of the internet is fast enough now to give just as good a picture via the net.

If you have the basic package of channels which includes bbc 1 2 3 4 channel4& 5 itv 1&3 and plenty of other chanells but not sky movies or sky sport you just pay for installation and there is no more to pay, so if you pay in cash, there is no need for bank details. A while ago you did need to supply a UK. address to get a card for the box, but now it is free to air and a card is not needed, which now avoids any UK. registration. If you require more channels then it would probably depend on the company who fit your dish and the method of payment for extra channels, if they would want your bank details.
