Yes! I believe change comes with growth and maturity and plenty of self reflection. I have known and watched some make huge changes in their lives, and I have known and watched others live in denial. Aside from 'life changing events' there can be other catalysts, a new faith, and new partner, an opening of the mind, an awareness of a better path. As humans we all should embrace change as a part of life, without it, we stagnate. Who really wants to be the same person they were at 5, or 15, or 35?

The answer is YES! And thank God to or else we'd all be stuck with a bunch of idiots. I have a success story that prooves it. My high school sweetheart was pretty heavy into drugs and it messed with our relationship and I fought for him to change his ways because I love him and it never worked. But now after a year apart we are closer than ever and more in love. The trick is that they HAVE to want it for themselfs (to change). You can't force someone to change, it doesn't work. So you really need to give them time and faith and pray that they want it as much as you do.

From personal experience I can tell you yes, but it is very hard, and even after "changing" they can revert back years later. Some of the changes I have made in my life I struggle with, but knowing that I am doing the right thing helps me continue on that way.

Yes ma'am. And for the better. That is the second positive thing about that. They will go through pain. Some more than others. Focus is on the positive. You have to always be positive with all people. In that way you support. When they are wrong you have to be firm. With honesty and love of course.

Well yes they can but some dont.My own experience I have had to do a lot of changing. As in my outlook on life . I am a middle age woman who has been around the block. And i have come to the conclusion that you have to make changes in order to make amends and go forward in your own life. You might not like it at first but the change will shine through.

Some people do, some people don't. Change comes with experience and knowlege. Some things are easily changed, others are imbedded character traits that will change. It all depends on the change you are referring to.

I'm not an expert, but I've never seen it happen. Maybe if a "life-altering experience" comes along, but day-to-day behavior, no.
