Bad news, Oliver. Readers Digest books have virtually no resale value. Where I live, the library, GoodWill, Salvation Army, and Volunteers of America will not accept donated Readers Digest books, simply because nobody will buy them, not even for a quarter or a dime. The fact that your books are not in pristine condition makes them worth even less than zero. I would be quite surprised if you were able to sell them at all. Sorry to have brought bad news, man.

Ebay is the obvious answer. One bit of advice. I used to work for a publisher who sold old art magazines on ebay. They had the most success by outlining a few personalities highlighted in the issue. People who collected memorabilia or often the person themselves often purchased the back issue. So in other words your better off highlighting an article about say, Jackson Pollock for example, than an article on Yosemite. Hope that helps.

Good luck with ebay. I've always heard that even library sales didn't want them as donations. They're cheaper and more plentiful than toilet paper.
