Here's my problem everyone. Whenever I try to have a simple conversation, I either get nervous and don't know what to say next, get lost and forget what the person just told me, or I just sit there and say nothing at all. I know how to listen but I can't share something back. I would like to know how can I become a more vibrant, confident, and talkative person to talk to. How can I make my conversation more lively?

I was as shy and introverted as a person can get when I was younger. but I got mad at myself. and decided to change. my mother bought me positive thinking books. and I practiced the methods they told me to do.I was actually written up in an article in the local paper as being a great salesman once.you have to have faith in yourself.tell yourself every day that your an outgoing wonderfull person.read up on national and local events to talk about.have enterests that you can share with people. knowing the Spirit of God and allowing it to guide me in my life has also helped me quite a bit also. Good Luck to you. and Merry Christmas.

Try joining some kind of club, or attend a home Bible study or discussion group. If you are old enough for college, take a course in Interpersonal Communication. (I believe it's called Speech 101.)
